Christmas of Light in a Murano Glass Star

Following the success of the previous year, in 2007 Simone Cenedese has created a star, made of approximately 500 glass elements, all hand made and mouth blown.

The star, still exhibited in Campo Santo Stefano in Murano, has become an iconic image of the island of glassmaking and is being photographed every day from hundreds of tourists.
