Glass Reflections in a Christmas Tree

Giovanni and Simone Cenedese, motivated by a great passion for their work and for their own city, had in mind since long time a monumental installation for Christmas.

Together with the Architects Studio DDF this gigantic project was developed and exhibited in Murano in December 2006 and the following year in Venice in the Piazzetta dei Leoncini, in front of St. Mark’s Square.

The tree – more than 8 m. high and with a maximum diameter of 3 m. – is made of one thousand multicoloured tubes, all hand made and mouth blown,
