GIOVANNI CENEDESE was born in Murano from  a Murano family of a long standing glassmaking  tradition, whose various branches have attained distinctive high quality especially in the course of the last fifty years.
After his training  in various Murano glass factories he established his own furnace in the 70s and poured into his production all the technical know-how and artistic sensibility he had been developing since he was attending the Abate Zanetti design school in Murano.
Along the years the Giovanni Cenedese glass factory has become famous for the high level of its production and the chromatic range of the pure and bright colors of its glassware.
Giovanni Cenedese in the 70s is among the first artists to apply the design to glasses where it is possible to drink from.
